The nationally-recognized boys' hockey program at Shattuck-St. Mary’s consists of six teams. All of our teams practice every day. Most of the teams practice during the regular school day and others practice in the late afternoon or early evening hours. Our arena was recently improved to provide 10 permanent dressing rooms of a professional standard. All teams play a competitive, seven month schedule, with tournament play throughout the U.S. The coaching staff includes former NHL, professional and Division I team coaches. The Director of Hockey is Tom Ward.
The Bantam Tier I team plays an independent schedule, several tournaments around the country, participates in the International Silverstick Finals in January held in Port Huron, MI. This team will represent Minnkota District in the USA Hockey Tier I National Bantam Tournament in Buffalo, NY in March, 2007.
